What are the official requirements to earn online CE credit?

The Department of Insurance requires active participation from all attendees in order to obtain online CE credit. This will be verified throughout the course by various two-digit numbers that will be shown on your screen. Immediately following course completion, you will take a short “attendance verification quiz” in which these numbers will need to be provided in the order they appeared. This will ensure that you were an active participant, and were in attendance throughout the entire duration.

What is the attendance policy?

The Department of Insurance requires all participants are signed on at the start of class. If you are not signed on by the time the course starts, the DOI may choose not to give you credit. They also require participants to stay signed in for the entire duration of the class. This is achieved by the 2-digit numbers shown on the screen periodically which you’ll use to complete the attendance verification quiz within 30 minutes after the class ends.

Will there be breaks during the class?

Yes, there will be two ten-minute breaks during the class near the end of each hour of instruction. The video feed will provide a countdown clock to let you know when the break is over. Do not be late for returning to the class.

How many credits will I get?

The class is filed for 3 credit hours in VA, NC, & SC. This is only for VA, NC, & SC.

When and how will I get my certificate?

Once you pass the attendance verification quiz, there is nothing more you need to do. You will receive your certificate via email within 2 hours after the quiz is closed. It will arrive from ce@jsausa.com so please look for it in your inbox.

When will my credits be filed?

We will file your CE credit hours the day following the successful completion of the class. Please allow up to 2 weeks for them to show up in your account.

Can I get a copy of the slides referenced during class?

Yes. On the classroom page tomorrow, there will be a button to the right of the viewing screen that is labeled “Course Materials”  where you can download the slide deck. (the attendance verification numbers will not be on any course materials)

Can multiple students view the class together on one computer?

No. The class is for individual viewing only. Group viewing is prohibited.

Can I get a printout of the instructions for the class?
Certainly. They are available for download on the virtual classroom page.

How much does it cost to take this class?
