Keith Shockley Named Controller for JSA
Boone, NC – Jackson Sumner & Associates (JSA) announced the recent addition of Keith Shockley as Controller for the 39-year-old company.
Shockley is a 2011 graduate of Appalachian State University with a degree in Finance & International Business. He has past experience working for BB&T as an analyst and portfolio manager in the Commercial Banking space. Most recently, he was with Wells Fargo as a Commercial Relationship Manager.
“Keith’s experience in working with small businesses from his previous banking life will be a huge asset to us,” stated JSA President and CEO, Danielle Wade. “I’ve known Keith and his family for many years, and we expect he’ll be a great fit for our culture.”
Shockley’s community involvement includes serving on the board and as Treasurer for Western Youth Network, a non-profit which facilitates after school and mentoring programs across several Western NC counties. He is also co-owner and CFO of Center 45, a local climbing center in Boone.
Shockley will lead the Accounting department for the company and will report directly to Wade. He resides in Boone with his wife, Breanna, and young son Kai. In his free time, he enjoys staying physically active with running and climbing.
