This week, we’re excited to bring you a recipe from a very talented cook, JSA’s Transportation Processing Manager Tania Call. It’s a fresh salad that’s easy to make ahead of time. Also, bacon and cheese? Yes and yes. Thank you, Tania!
Tania’s Pea Salad
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 cup homemade Sunny Italy creamy Italian dressing (or make your own)
- seasoned salt
- ground black pepper
- 1 16 oz bag of frozen peas
- 1/4 cup diced red onion
- 6 pieces of bacon cooked and chopped
- 1 cup shredded cheese
Instructions

In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise, sugar, seasoned salt, and ground black pepper. Set aside.

In a large bowl, stir together frozen peas, shredded cheese, bacon crumbles, and red onion. Stir in the mayonnaise mixture until everything is covered.

Cover and store in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
